Pakistan Telecommunication Company Pakistan will be the operator using the technology VDSL2 Association to provide existing customers DSL speeds up to 50mbps. The project uses the expertise of Alcatel-Lucent’s VDSL2 and should be completed by the end of the second quarter of this year. Alcatel-Lucent, provide PTCL with a smart director of access services (EA) IP access platform, which supports the interdependence VDSL2. Alcatel-Lucent is also supplying equipment to link ready for customer premises (CPE). Alcatel-Lucent a major project integrating the network, and provide a range of professional services including project management, installation, operation, integration and technical support.
